I came to know about Steem just yesterday and loving it, Are you in love with steem?
It was just yesterday that some of my friends informed me about this beautiful steem community where I can enjoy lots of quality stuff, not to mention that there are some spammers trying to make big money with useless crap too but I am happy overall and I am highly hopeful that staff members will kick those spammers or warn them because we want to keep Steem clean and quality community.
The key to success is not to post for money, because if you'll do that, you will fall in making useless crappy posts which usually happens in greediness of money. Stay patiently, do not rant that you got votes but they didn't increase your money. Why losing patience? Steem is not going anywhere, and for sure you are here too. Invest your time for quality, and get your money in quantity.
I got lucky with my first post but I've tried to stay grounded and recognise that it was just beginners luck so that my other posts will remain consistent. I'm not trying to reach out to the steemit community so much but prefer to write about what I am learning as I learn it, so that I can share that with my friends and open their eyes to steemit.

I failed to fall in love with this place, took forever to try to find out how things actually work and when I did I realised why the site owners are not upfront about it, it's a scam, has anybody actually cashed out any real money from this place yet?
NOT AT ALL. How you can call it scam bro? My friends made some BIG money here, and it is sponsored by BlockChain, can you ever imagine what they earn and what they give here? They make hundreds of thousands of dollars daily, and they are very kind to share some part here. My friend made $230 in SINGLE post. Thank Steemit for this opportunity and work hard buddy. Forget about money for now and focus on quality.
Where did the money come from to pay your friend? Like classic Ponzi schemes a few early investors will make lots of money and the rest lose.
BTW Is that real US dollars your friend actually cashed out or just the pretend value stated in the wallet? And how much Steam Power did your friend purchase, has he/she made any actual real money profit?

Those who are saying that steemit is scam. Why don't you buddies take your time, and spend like a week, accumulate money and try to withdraw? There is only one rule to success: WORK HARD BUT BE SMART. You must know how to work smart. Problem is, you might be working hard but not working smart. Try to be smart and see money rolling.
