Who makes money on steemit

Everyone wonders, who makes a buck on steemit. Science can give us the answer ;) . Just read, what I found out, doing a little survey on this website.

So, I’m a scientist, I did some studies, I’m trained to see patterns. I took a look at who earns money on steemit. Here are my results.

So basically there are two kinds of persons getting bucks out of it. That means for now. I deeply hope it will change some when, but knowing people, I doubt it.

First, there are nerds (no offense), who know stuff about steemit. How it works, how you can protect youself, stuff like that. Stuff, most here probably don’t understand (myself included. I know some things about black matter and stuff, but technology and this kind of money… No way… Saying stuff an awful lot here…). But I like you guys, you really deserve this. You learned to do this, to understand this, and maybe some of you hadn’t had such a nice time in school. So now all these suckers make less money than you, good for you. Keep on going! People like you brought humanity fire, electricity, computers and so on. We need you!

Second, there are hot girls. If you wonder, if you are hot (or others think you are), ask yourself if you had to post a proof after your #introduceyourself. If no one wondered, if you’re real, congratulations, you are not hot. Meaning, except you’re a nerd, you won’t make money here. Otherwise, you lucky one, you will get money for whatever shit you write, because your genes gave you a pretty little face and probably some big tits. You’re on vacation? Oh, please, tell me all about it! You tried some new make up? Hell, I have to know what it’s like!

So, in the end, steemit is – yet – no different from youtube or the real world out there. If you want to be successful, you either need some knowledge (and mostly be a (white) male, because what could a woman possibly know about serious matters in life, let alone technology!?) or you need good looks (or what society thinks are good looks). I sincerely hope, it will change, and it will be about more serious matters some time. That steemit can be a place, where things are different from other posting platforms.

My only hope: It’s on you. You can change it. Will you…?
