How much is your time worth?
When I was going through training to become A+ certified in computer repair my instructor told the class that soon we would be inundated with friends and relatives with computer problems. Our instructor advised us to tell them to back up there files and write out a check for $90.00 because our time was valuable.

Several years ago I took a conversational hypnosis class. One of the skills I learned was how to help people stop smoking. It took me 8 days to learn (70-80 hours) at a cost of about $3,000.00. I had to determine what a fair price for smoking succession would be. I determined that the cost of 2 1/2 cartons of cigarettes.

After 2 years I studied the skills to do stage hypnosis. ($3,000.00 for 90 min.)

That would make my most monetarily valuable skill worth $55.50 per minute.

Have I ever done a 90 show. No but it is good to know how much your skill sets are worth.

It helps me determine what activities are worth my time.

Spend time with loved ones:Yes.

Spend time with annoying boneheads who are not paying me: No.
