How to make more money off steemit

in #money7 years ago

Steemit is truly something special, getting paid for creating content is a privilage and unlike Youtube, which is terribly saturated regardless of the niche, it is not as crowded. But it is demanding, more demanding than having a Youtube channel I would say, writing a few posts every day is a bit time consuming. So I discovered that for passionate writers, who are knowledgable in a certain topic and who are willing to write a few hundred words every day, writing an eBook is the way to go. There is nothing easier than publishing an eBook on kindle store, it is free and there is no minimum word limit. You can write a short story and sell that for $1, and voila, you just created a passive stream of income for the rest of your life; write a couple more and you just increased your stream of income. Just make sure that you let people know what they're buying in terms of number of pages and reading time and you are all good. So for all the Steemian creators out there, compile your work fellas and publish that eBook.

I was thinking about making a YouTube Training eBook to help smaller YouTubers, this is a great idea

by all means go for it, and set me up with a free compy ;)

I'll need to look up a tutorial at some point. To give me ideas on how I can set it up, as a guide.

Wikihow is a good place to start

Thanks for sharing about ebooks. I've always wondered how competitive the ebook landscape is and how hard it is to promote them. Any thoughts?

The better your cover and the more descriptive your title is, the easier it is for your eBook to stand out. Also pricing is definitely a factor, I mean if you write a short book on how to be more productive or how to lose weight in a month and sell that for 1-2$, this is nothing and can attract many buyers if the cover, title and description are all optimised.
