The fight of the currencies has started again
The green lights are on.
As a result many altcoins are starting to loose and others to win. So we have to think about which currency has some value. To my mind value is generated through trust, a usecase and general acceptance. That's why LTC, DASH and BCH are strong although they are just cash with benefits to BTC. Probably there is no space for just payment coins with small transactions fees anymore. There are some coins with the same good properties but with a smaller acceptance but which are trying to implement some privacy like Verge, Zcash and XMR.
Maybe ARDR if the it is really scalable.
I am not sure if there is an ecological niche for just payment cryptocurrencies left.
But think of ideas bigger/greater than just payments! There are many coins which will be gone again soon. So do not invest in just one coin (at least to avoid loosing much money due to scammers). This coin for example does not look trustworthy to me, but you get free coins when signing up. So why not take it? Probably it's useless but we never know. Great information you shared, thank you, I have always thought of investing in one of the cryptocurrency and I don't know the particular one to trust.
I just mentioned coins I trust in and most of them are broadly accepted...

Awesome post. I have found myself asking the same questions. I have the most faith in Ethereum these days because its wide range of uses so i have been investing in alt coins around the ethereum platform.
Around ETH? Do you mean coins with a similar function like EOS or NEO?
