The US Government Lost $1.2 Trillion In 2017 + $250 million per day since September 11, 2001
Recently, I started a 6 Part Series entitled Restoring the Lost Republic as way to try to inform, educate, and wake Americans up about the seriousness of what is happening in their country and what they can do to retake it from the very nefarious International Banking Cabal.
This Cabal basically took control over the country in 1913 (arguably before but anyway...) when they established the Federal Reserve.
In Part 3 of this series - Department of the Treasury & The Federal Reserve (The Fed) I outlined how the Fed was created, how they create currency (debt, actually) out of thin air and lend it to the US Government at interest with current and future generations footing the bill for decades to come.
Now to the point of this article: I came across a wonderful article by Simon Black on ZeroHedge entitled The US Government Lost $1.2 Trillion In 2017
in which I was flabbergasted by the sheer size of the number presented:
$1.2 Trillion lost
This is for 2017 alone. And by lost, the author means: wasted/over-spent/mismanaged/carelessly-plundered/stolen-from-the-American-people/added-to-the-bill-of-pensioners-and-future-generations, whatever you want to call it.
Here is the graph on the first page of the official government fiscal report for 2017 to prove it:
Also stated in the official Balance Sheet on page 55:
This amount is only for 2017!
I highly recommend you to read his article, as it will get you to think a bit more deeply about its significance and implications.
Speaking of scary numbers: $250 million per day since September 11, 2001
Simon Black's article reminded me of another article from November of 2017 entitled The 'War On Terror' Has Cost American Taxpayers $250 Million A Day For 16 Years (alternate link here) from The Anti-Media.
Here is the first paragraph which basically says it all:
The U.S. government has spent a staggering $1.46 trillion on wars abroad since September 11, 2001, according to the Department of Defense’s (DoD) periodical “Cost of War” report. As International Business Times reports, this amounts to $250 million a day for 16 years consecutively.
"this amounts to $250 million a day for 16 years consecutively"
Let that sink in for a minute.
Moreover,
It must be noted that this analysis only covers direct war-related expenses and is certainly on the lower side of such estimates of the cost of American wars to date. For example, in 2014, a report from Congress’ nonpartisan research arm found that the government had already shelled out over $1.6 trillion for the war on terror. That estimate would amount to approximately $337 million per day every single day for that 13-year period.
Post Update - More military trillions missing...
note: this section was added after a commenter reminded me about the $2.3 trillion missing after 9/11.
Oh, and I almost forgot about the 2.3 trillion that Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld had clumsily mentioned the day before the September 11, 2001 attacks! Watch him squirm in the video of the first two links that references this monumental shortfall (theft?):
- 911Truth.org: $2.3 trillion missing and counting, http://911truth.org/2-3-trillion-missing-and-counting/
- ArmstrongEconomics.com: Defense Department Missing $6.5 Trillion up from $2.3 Trillion in 2001, https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/taxes/defense-department-missing-6-5-trillion-up-from-2-3-trillion-in-2001/

- CorbettReport.com: Episode 308 – 9/11 Trillions: Follow The Money, https://www.corbettreport.com/episode-308-911-trillions-follow-the-money/
Fast forward to 2016 yet another $6.5 trillion missing from the Defense Department
Fast forward to 2017 and another $21 Trillion dollars is missing from the US government, specifically from the Department of Defense (DOD) & Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
A BIG thank you to Catherine Austin Fits (one of my HEROES OF TRUTH) for her work on this discovery as well as Dr. Mark Skidmore from Michigan State University for his excellent forensic research and analysis on these missing funds.
$21 Trillion dollars is missing from the US government. That is $65,000 for every person in America. That is more than our entire national debt!
So adding all these three together we come up with a missing (stolen?):
But wait...hold on...not even close to being finished my friends...
[END OF POST UPDATE ADDITION]
Even scarier:
If you think the numbers above are scary, you'll have to wrap your mind around the hundreds of trillions that have been looted by the Cabal banksters over the last 100+ years through the income tax.
In Part 4 - The 16th Amendment and the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) of my series, I will demonstrate to you how the IRS is merely a collection agency for the Federal Reserve and, in actuality, not a cent of your hard-earned slave income taxes you've paid actually goes to the federal government; but rather goes to the elites, corporations, and Cabal banksters.
Here is a sneak peak:
In 1982, an investigation called ‘The Grace Commission’ was requested by President Ronald Reagan to uncover the amount of waste and inefficiency in the US Federal government. The Grace Commission report found that:
“… 100 percent of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the federal debt and by federal government contributions to transfer payments. In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services [that] taxpayers expect from their government.”
In other words, all the revenue collected from income tax goes to pay the interest on the debt and not a cent goes to the aforementioned services.
And there will be many more eye-opening facts in there for all to ponder about.
So, stay tuned for more reality checks.
First thought:
Too bad, the taxpayers pay for all of it.
Second thought:
Well, the government can create as much as it wants of its own currency.
Third thought:
When the government creates more of its own currency, it comes at the expense of holders of its currency, and not just.
Fourth thought:
Well, they do let it happen.
Thank you @fersher for your comment and upvote. Very shortly after you posted your comment I saw a whopping 21 votes for your comment and I strongly suspect it came from your last thought: "Well, they do let it happen."
And I think this is the crux of the matter, as it has been the case for decades now. Many American citizens documenting and complaining about it but nothing ever gets done about it. Citizens and voters and not holding their politicians and government accountable. Not easy to do, I know. But if they don't take action soon (and freaking very soon I might add) the powers that be will be imposing a total tyranny over them.
Hope they decide to ACT before it's too late. Note that I will have a 3-POINT ACTION PLAN they can follow in Part 5 of my Restoring the Lost Republic series; so I am hoping they can follow this, as if only 5-10% of the population goes with it, it will be game over for the banksters and powers that be.
No. All these votes I got came from frontrunners of the steemdiffuser bot.
My comment is good, but cattledog's is better and more on point, see (not just you, future readers too) my reply to him.
What is it?
This could be a good idea 200 years ago. Now it is practically too late.
The civil war is a reminder to those whom consider it.
Today the tyranny is far worse than before the civil war, and much more in control.
The post Brexit collusion is a showcase of the one world government in action.
It might not be official, but it is in control since IDK.
Sorry, I should have suspected so that it was these bots.
Personally, I think this bots are like a cancer spreading in Steemit. If their sole purpose is to spam, flood the system, and get people extra pennies then I think they should be banned!
#BanTheBots
Anyone see this or like the idea, let's start the trend with the hashtag to ban these parasites...
Hard to argue against such an argument, but is self voting by the biggest users better?

Interesting post, you do a nice job juxtaposing the financial figures with the war machine (always the biggest line item in the budgets).
I've come to the point where I simply fail to understand what all of these figures produced by the government are supposed to mean. There are no boundaries for creating money, spending money, allocating money, lending money, etc. How can there be any discernible meaning in a concept that has no concrete boundaries?
We live in increasingly strange times where money has no value, words have no meaning, humans are not accountable for anything and the politicians keep circling this bloody mess of confusion snapping up at anything that smells like opportunity. How long can this possibly go on for before the flow of the economy's lifeblood (its currency) locks up, people awake, and realize that they are playing a strange charade of human interaction. They are simply being goaded into using their time and effort to prop up a reward system that is designed to work against them. Nothing is real, nothing has any real value. I don't even mean to sound pessimistic, it just seems obvious at this point...what is the end game? How long can the powers-that-shouldn't-be use smoke and mirrors to trick people into participation in a neo-feudal society? What finally breaks a fraudulent system?
The debt itself is devalued by inflation.
A 20 Trillion of debt today is less than a 1 Trillion of debt in 1850.
Your comment is also undervalued. No relation to the undervalued mentioned before.
You people should learn to use bidbots.
Fiat cash does has value, it just loses it over time.
The end game is slavery, and it is already in place as you seem to be aware of.

Thank you for your comment @danielshortell. Two things:
1 - I think the average American doesn't seem to care (heck I'm Canadian!) about these issues. (They may only start to care after the meltdown/reset when their dollars are devalued by more than 40%). That's a harsh statement, I know. But who can prove me wrong?
2 - They are way too distracted by their cell phones and similar devices to even notice this debacle. Many more important fish to fry...
Very sad indeed.
yep @libertyacademy, I think a tiny minority of americans are aware of, and an even tinier minority are concerned by these issues. Most people go about their daily routines quite ignorant of much that is going on around them. And for many people, this label of "ignorant" that I'm using is not even meant to be disparaging. As you state, people are so distracted to even notice that this is a huge concern. We live is such a pointlessly consumeristic world that people become obsessed with trivial concerns of accumulation on one end of the spectrum (those with some disposable income) and those on the other end of the spectrum that are working multiple jobs just to pay the bills. In the end, neither of these two camps, on the aggregate, can devote or have the desire to devote any amount of time to understanding the dire realities that comprise the very foundation of society. This will not end well.
Thanks for your input my friend.
Don't forget Rumsfeld's announcement of the missing $2.3 trillion the day before 911. Must have just fallen behind the couch.
This comment made me even more sorry that I bought myself a vote here, but I felt like it was a good time to buy myself a vote and had only a short period before the voting cycle was done.

But without the government, who will BOMB the roads?
