How to save money and not even notice it. Simple and fast read

Saving money for most people seems like an impossible task, especially when most people live paycheck to paycheck. Have you noticed that the more you seem to make the more you seem to spend. Say you got an extra $25 bonus at work added to your paycheck for 1 week. It seems like that $25 would find a way to spend it self, and you wouldn't even notice it. Now the opposite is true as well. Say you made $25 less that week, you probably wouldn't notice that as well, because mentally and even subconsciously you would find a way to budget within the means of that particular paycheck.

So the key here is to save money without even noticing it. So how do we do it? It quite simple.

1. Open up a second bank account

2. Say you get paid every Friday, so you would set up an automatic transfer from your main account to this secondary account of a certain dollar amount that you are comfortable with. It can be $10, $25, $50, what ever you are comfortable with.

   They key in the beginning is not the amount of the transfer, but the consistency. It has to be automatic and every pay period. You will be surprised at how effective this method is, and then slowly you can up that amount. Say you do $50 every pay period. Well after one year that's $1300 in your account with very little effort. Go ahead and treat your self to a vacation , buy the kids something or keep up the savings routine.
