I started here on Steemit with a $4,000 investment. I'm almost two months in and even after everything I've earned I'm still down about $1,400. Do I keep going or cut my losses, not sure? #money #crypto #blog #steem #steemit
Keep going. You bought steem by the looks of it at it's ATH. You have to have faith in the community, your own judgement, research and the potential that steemit has. My number 1 motto is never sell at a loss. You haven't lost anything until you sell. Personally I believe in Steemit. It is a community like non other. Ignore the USD value and just enjoy your time on the platform. All the best @dan21050
I think I bought in somewhere around the mid to high $3 range just below $4. Steem had at one point made it upwards of somewhere around $8.50 so I thought I had gotten a steal, but now STEEM is down around $2.70 so my investment has dropped about 30%-35% still even at the prices I got in at being favorable prices at that time. There has to be a bottom and a subsequent rebound but it may take a long time for all things crypto to start trending up again. We may all need to be in this for the long haul and hope that crypto battles through all the negative publicity and increased regulations and does become a legit form of trading and that the masses accept as that. I don't think we'll see a substantial rebound of any kind until all that is in the past and people see that crypto still survived all that. Thanks for the encouragement though.
Hi Jonny - I've been here at steemit for a few months - trying to get a feel for this playing field - since you're into being a dad, I followed you when I saw you. Just went in and upvoted some posts in your blog. After all this time spent, I admit I haven't figured out a THING about Steemit, other than the content varies a lot in quality and my posts aren't doing well or aren't being seen. I'm still hangin' in there as I like the potential - if it's Fair, then people will choose to grow. Hope you come and visit Momz (grandmomz really).
I've advise to be consistent, the dark days will soon be over and you'll reap everything you've shown into Steemit, at the same time work on your post.
Good point, it has to all be cyclical right, it can't always go down, at some point it will have to go back up or else no one would make any money. Just like the stock market.
