Yahoo Finance talking heads are unknowns and their credentials are mostly hidden

You won't find Yahoo posting anything about this know-nothing kid, you have to really search far and wide for info on him. Apparently his bio is rather short. He graduated from Columbia graduate school for journalism (Ivy League) and went to Middlebury College undergraduate and was a journalist for Fortune (crappy business rag going downhill since the 90s) before landing a sweet gig being snarky on Yahoo Finance live video. His face is all over the business video internet, yet his credentials are nil. His primary claim to fame is his book "Zoom: Surprising Ways to Supercharge Your Career". This makes sense, bc it's surprising that his resume landed him a talking-head job on stocks when he doesn't know anything about stocks and has no experience either. The book was financed by Fortune, I guess that's how they support their writers? Who knows, it might even be an internal requirement that all Fortune writers have to pump out a book to keep their careers going? Why are we shitting on his parade? Because he seems to make a career of shitting on other people's parade on his millenial-soup live show which mainly is a demonstration of maximum snarkiness. His generation makes fun of stuff by pretending to be friendly with it, it's just how they do. Apparently if you make a good-natured-SOUNDING joke about something you don't like, it's the nice way to shit on something about which you know nothing-- which for him is EVERY topic. He's wrong about literally EVERYTHING.

As for his book, it's just a Horatio Alger list of people who did well. Blah. From the look of this fair reviewer (2 stars, not 1), it appears he simply "mailed it in"...

We'll try to remember to do a bio on other Yahoo talking heads, they are all snarky and unbearable. But we're already a bored as Mr Roberts' resume and book.
