MONEY TALKS: “How to Stop Squabbling Over Money”
At some point, we all have that one friend who always tells us that “Money is the root of all evil” which sometimes sounds truthful when watching news. But, is it really money to blame when all you have were extra centavos and few bills? Money may sound devilish but take it or leave it, money serves our daily living and is a means for acquiring things we need. If you are already in your adult years and still asking where all those monthly salaries go, then you may want to check this relevant list that will make you go back to where you had last spent your dollars and think if all those expenditures really mattered way back then:
Credit card fanatic - It sounds so wealthy when someone owns a credit card but, that is only if you are a good pay maker. You may never see it coming but the moment you engage yourself into a rummaging shopping and used your credit card, you’re also throwing straight bull’s eyes down the drain with interest rates which may consume your next salary. So, you’re still asking where your money went, you may want to check down your wallet and find out if you’re using this type of card.
Millionaire’s buffet the night after pay day - The most wonderful time of the year may always be Christmas but for adults, you may want to add the most wonderful day in a month to your list and that is payday. So here you go, withdrawing and splurging it to restaurants to reward yourself for successfully getting through a real-life hunger games. Well, it is good to treat yourself but if you’re doing it every pay day or even every other day of the month, then check your belly and answer where those dollars go. Remember, it is still more satisfying going home to a home-cooked meal.
Live-like-we’re-dying-night-life - There is nothing wrong with going out for few beers with good people after a tiring and stressful work, but replacing the word “few” to “few more” when you’re already tipsy is another story. As an adult, you have to be always mindful of the number of drinks you get and the number of bills you take out from your little banker down the pocket. So, if you don’t want to ask the next day where those bills go, then plan bringing “few bills” before you indulge into a beery night life after work.
Unlimited wants - Anyone can tell that malls and stores all have great marketing strategy as they post “on sale” items right on time with your pay day. You want to spend money to things that catch your attention. It is good to buy “on sale” items but always remind yourself to only buy those things that are rightfully needed and not just because you want to have it.
I’m-going-to-save-tomorrow attitude - Among these five things where your money probably went, this one would really hit you down the core. Of course, if something catches your attention, instead of saving some money, you’re going to say that popular line in life of an adult - “I’m going to do it tomorrow” It is better to save money before you think of where to spend it because emergencies do not emerge, planned. It is always good to have something to pull out in times of crisis.
So to be able to save, cut some unnecessary things and watch your savings grow! 💰💸

My parents/relatives used to be a one day millionaire when they received their salaries. Shop there, drink there, etc. which I have learned enough from them.
I also don't use credit cards and prefer cash on payments. I mean it's not that difficult to bring paper bills right? Lol
I'm always on a tight budget. But what drains my money are my family haha. Most of my funds are purely allocated on them though.
Thanks for sharing this amazing post @hannalysis. Upvoted, commented and resteemed :)
