Thoughts and money of geniuses

It's hard, of course, to place yourself in the place of a great athlete or businessman, but if you try to imagine yourself as such, it helps to understand how the head works with extraordinary thinking individuals. First of all, they never evaluate themselves according to their results; they do not care how much money they have earned and what their previous account of defeats and victories is. What gives them a special pleasure is moments of the greatest tension in the face of suspense: when you are at the start paired with a strong opponent, when your blow can lead the team into the champions, when the time shown by you decides the fate of Olympic gold.

Pure success means that you yourself need to create the opportunity and test yourself - your strength, spirit and will, to check whether you can adequately implement it.
And Deutsch will not fail to screw up, which is also "fun". And really: if the result is known in advance, what is the point of the buzz, excitement, satisfaction?

To be self-confident means to despise the external realities, and at the same time the opinions of others and to believe only in yourself and your ability to achieve something grand. What does "grandiose" mean?
