Being able to lock in at a specified price and pay over time is a huge advantage with Mene! For many people this is an easy way to invest as $800 may be alot, but an extra $130/month is nothing as they would spend that on non-essential stuff anyways! Then in the end you have a tangible asset!

@goldmatters; Remember we talked about harvest plan yesterday. I decided to check it out today, and i found out interesting things about it which i will love to share;

Harvest plan is incremental payments towards a mene item.
Harvest plan makes saving up and payment very easy.
Method of payment could be in lengths of 3 months, 6months and 9months.
Monthly payments are automatically charged to your credit card until the total amount is paid. Since you are paying for the item in bits, you wont feel that a huge chunk of money is leaving your account.
The status of your payment is clearly seen on your dashboard.
Payment can be cancelled. Any time a payment is cancelled a 10% inconvenience fee is charged.
The most interesting thing is that, your payments will not be subject to the fluctuating daily price of gold or platinum. That is, once you have made the first installment payment, the price of your gold does not change anymore.

With this plan, everyone can easily purchase a mene item.

Great info @goldmatters. I think that I mentioned in one of my previous Mene Jewelry posts, that many coin dealers will gladly do a layaway plan for collector coins, but never for gold bullion.
The reason is, the item might very well be worth much more when it ships out to you, than it's original cost!

I have done layaway with companies like the shopping channel. I once bought a collection of 60 Newfoundland coins, including a rare gold one, from them using their monthly payment plan. Those coins are rare and vastly undervalued. I would think about doing this with Mene products, but I'd rather buy them as I had the cash. When I bought the chain, I used my credit card to get my grocery points, but paid it off immediately with my bonus.
