I think that those hating on wealth by work know that they could have been rich if they simply stopped spending their money on crap and invested it instead.
It is easy for them to say "Oh I could never be a movie star or a basketball player." But everyone can work and make money and invest slowly over time.
I mean, even a minimum wage worker will earn over $1 million during their life - without a single promotion!
We all have money. Very few are disciplined enough to keep most of it.
Very true. But I must say that many people at least in Finland, who don't come from wealthy families or from families with the wealthy mindset, grow up learning that wealth is something you shouldn't work for. If you have wealth, don't show it, is the silent rule in Finland and many other European countries. It is within the culture to kind of dislike wealth, but in the long run it will just make some families richer than others. I'm quite sure of it, just takes many years.
