Funding the Idiocracy - The Lottery

Every now and then US State lottery jackpots reach enormous levels. This is almost entirely fueled by a culture of consumer greed, materialism, steeped in debt, accumulated over years of wanton binge shopping with easy credit and all for nothing student loans. Thus the chance of acquiring massive free fiat is hard to ignore. After all, what are the odds that winning will in effect change one's lifelong financial habits irrespective of personal responsibility or the economic structures in play that help perpetuate economic failure and debt servitude. Consider movies such as the Big Short, 99 Homes, Americons or Too Big to Fail for some additional insight.

Regardless, here in NY, the two prominent games worthy of mention are the Mega Millions and Powerball, which if I am correct, is actually endemic to all US States. They do not call it the idiot tax for nothing. Despite this I usually do not play but in this instance both jackpots are well above 100 million. Like the BTC mania, it will increase further as news continues to hype the potential winnings. So, in an effort to contribute to life in the urban idiocracy as contrasted by it's suburban counterpart, I gave in and played with the notion that winning would help fund some rather esoteric interests, namely the building of a Steemit replacement platform which would be more robust and customized and not akin to our current disaster which is reminiscent of AOL pre-Time Warner with limited features, ugly design and over run by bots with a pedantic sense of enforcing moronic policies which are simply a distraction from the real issues that continue to remain.

Considering the jackpot size of either game, this would be relatively easy and it would help fuel the natural competitive market of social media for user retention and control. In essence if Steemit was MySpace, then I would endeavor to create the Facebook variation, effectively killing this over-bloated one dimensional monstrosity. Some of the features I would stress and incorporate include more profile verification measures, an interactive design that features unique templates with more user additions to profiles. Creativity and uniqueness is stressed and not moronic policies which seek to emulate graduate school rigidity. Steemcleaners nonsense and their fanboy dimwits would not be incorporated as they are a nuisance which only distracts from the real issues which continue to plague this platform. I would not permit early whale accounts to accumulate massive amounts of any tokens, coins or virtual fiat to effectively imbalance influence. The entire platform would need to better equalize all virtual stakeholders and not be another digital reflection of our already heavily imbalanced world based on wealth accumulation and influence.

As the innocuous often imbecile like NY lottery saying goes, Hey you never know. Why? Because for me, Steemit has got to go. So off to play some more............what good is fiat anyway as we are all digital currency aficionados anyway. So what would you do with 100+ million free fiat?
