Expanse.tech comes to Steemit!
What is Expanse?
Expanse is a community driven, decentralized information, application, and smart contract platform. The Expanse project is operated by its community through a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) in which its members directly collaborate; exchange thoughts and ideas; and vote to determine the project's future developments and management decisions.
Featuring a growing collection of smart contracts, dApps (decentralized applications) and toolkits provide users and organizations of all types with intuitive access to some of the most exciting applications of blockchain technology. The project provides tools and services that businesses, charities, even governments can use to easily and intuitively make use of blockchain technology from creating and managing smart assets to providing digital fulfillment and distribution.
My name is Ricardo Goncalves; some of you may know me as representative of @thecryptodrive and @bravenewcoin on the Steemit.com platform and others of you have engaged with me in the Steem Slack channel. I truly treasure all the people who have supported, mentored and befriended me in Steemit community. Yes it does have big potential, the features @cryptoclub highlighted above are key, it has all of the positives of Ethereum with none of the problems and drama we have seen recently with the DAO. The borderless project will also be a huge boost to Expanse. Thanks to @cryptoclub for answering the above questions.

There may be changes by now, but it sounds like ethereum because at least originally it was literally a direct copy/fork of ethereum.
There are a variety of key differences with the design from Ethereum, it was not a direct copy, changes were made before we ever went live. EXP is much more rare, different block timing, different difficulty algo, no difficulty bomb for mining, no ICO. Of course later, no fork to save DAO funds needed. Borderless is also entirely original code built on Expanse for Decentralized Governance. ETH is much more corporate and EXP is more grass roots, although we do have big business partners and bonuses, like Microsoft Azure, Bizspark+, and Centurylink Cable. :)
I want to see in action bordeless tech soon, I hope EXP in the future take the place it deserves 8]

One correction, there is no foundation nor will there be. Franko and Myself founded it, and Dan joined us right away as a founder / Core team member.
