Greg - Is there anyone who talks about how deflation (caused by housing bubble collapse and subsequent fractional reserve bank credit collapse) COUNTERS overall inflation and specifically counterfeiting by the central bank to bail out government debt. I don't know how that would net-out but would be interested in hearing a technical discussion of it.
Mike Maloney in his "Hidden Secrets of Money" video series does an excellent job of explaining the monetary system.

Relly you are right
I highly doubt that people in Venezuela, that have gold coins, are going around now and buying farmlands, rental properties, etc.
Just make a research what happens during economic collapse. If you are a regular person with any valuables, sit tight, pray no one finds out about you.
Your perspective makes more practical sense for the regular person with any valuables.
I would also think that there are people taking advantage of the situation by accumulating land and other valuables to increase their holdings.

USA is not Venezuela. I know plenty of people in the US buying lands to secure the future of a collapse.
There is a saying in the south USA. "Come and Take it" with a canon or gun next to it.
The flag or sign means to challenge anyone including the government to take their lands away.
This was a great interview. John Rubino always explains how things are in simple ways so everyone can understand.

The IN rupee hit an all-time low against the US dollar. The South rand have also seen big drops in recent day. Many fear the crisis could damage the global financial system bow.
These are times of instabilities in currencies of all types. Even cryptocurrencies have seen large drops. In the end there are bound to be winning and losing currencies.
