Random Thought -- Here are some Bot tips from an everyday vote buyer.
- I use steem Bot Tracker to see if the bot has vote room before I send it SBD
https://steembottracker.com/ - Don't send money in the last 5 minutes before the bot votes, wait for the next one
- I only send money to bots that have enough room to vote me double my bid. Often this works but if you get much less than this you can actually lose money due to curation.
- You need at least 1.5 vote for every SBD you send to break even.
- The higher the price of steem = you can lose money sending SBD and getting back 50/50 so keep this in mind as the price climbs.

Thanks for such a nice information about bot. Today I lost 1SBD by paying to bot @therising from steembottracker.com and he only give me 1.8$.after curation it will be nearly 0.5SBD which is much lesser then I gave to him.
From getting upvote from you I will get a toy(Barbie doll) for my baby girl . Which is 1.5 $. She saw it in a store while coming from school. She is 6 year old. Your upvote give her joy

Hello i hope everything is going well , Im back after a while, I was reading your previous post and very good topics such as goals, trips between family and friends. Today I read about bots and good techniques. Very informative. About why I should win, well I'm about to finish my college career and I'm about to do the internships for 3 months, which are not remunerated so it would be wonderful to get some SBD and SP to grow in this community. With your upvote I can recover the losses I had using bots because I didn't know certain things, although in some cases I received a vote greater than 1.5 of the sbd I invested, the post was more than 30 minutes which reduced by 25% my rewards.

You definitely share us a good approach on using bid-bots in steemit. Using bid-bots seem to be very advantageous especially for newbies. I think they provide a great service to minnows and new users by allowing us to get our posts out there and seen by more people and build our following along with reputation. But everyone should use bots very effectively and wisely. One shouldn't use it to promote bad content. They should strictly track the bidding status in the link as you have said and we can be profitable by using upvote bot.
If you give me an upvote, I can slowly increase my steem power to 100. I actually love to reward new accounts trying out the platform writing quality contents for the community. Great things always takes time.
Interesting about bots, I am new to this Steemit and not here for the money right now. My focus is to find and share meaningful content. Bots seem more like going to the casino and trying to hit the jackpot. I imagine the current system will evolve to one that is more encouraging of value content. Seems now people are more interested in vote first before read. Maybe if my perception was of Bots as an advertisement cost then it might make sense to draw a little interest my way, In hopes they may like what they see.

Well, bots are like power in movies: they also come at a graet responsability.
I think most people make good use of it, but we must think to ourselves if the post or our channel in general is worth the use of bots to get attention.

I stopped using bots when the SBD price is going down drastically. Even now, it is still risky to buy upvotes. That's why I'm just waiting for your posts hoping you will choose me as the winner. Thanks for this great tip btw. : )
