Who controls all of our money?

in #money7 years ago

This has been the long time question for many of us and for decades.

I'm going to post a short summary of how it all technically works but basically the system/sector that are in charge of creating money here in the US are called the federal reserve. This is a separate entity from the government meaning they don't have to get approval from any other government body including the president or anyone else in the executive or legislative branches of government which is why the US is debt by the trillions as they keep on borrowing and borrowing money from them.

The crazy thing about that is that the federal reserve creates this money from nothing. That's right the money that they give is the money they create. They don't owe anyone money but almost everyone who has ever taken out a loan owes them money. Not many people know this which is why there hasn't been any major wars, revolutions or protest resulting of this central bank.

The US aren't the only countries to do this almost every country has a system like this in place. Well, I only wrote a very brief summary but if you would like to get a more detailed information about the history of how the us dollar was made and passed onto.
