Dividend Cash Flow
Let's talk about that sweet passive cash flow from stocks and ETFs. This will be a simple step by step guide in how I find the asset the look it up on to make sure they are paying.
Getting cash flow or dividend income can really help out in paying bills or even living off the income. For example having a dividend yield of 15% and you have $150k in that asset you could earn $22.5k a year. Which is a very good income to get without doing much, but its just an example. Getting this income can come from stocks or ETFs or ETNs. These asset classes does have risk so play it smart and have a plan. Having this income being part of you portfolio can definitely help out.
What are stocks?
A stock (also known as "shares" or "equity) is a type of security that signifies proportionate ownership in the issuing corporation. This entitles the stockholder to that proportion of the corporation's assets and earnings.
What are ETF's?
An exchange-traded fund is an investment fund traded on stock exchanges, much like stocks. An ETF holds assets such as stocks, commodities, or bonds and generally operates with an arbitrage mechanism designed to keep it trading close to its net asset value, although deviations can occasionally occur
What is a dividend?
Dividend is a payment made by a corporation to its shareholders, usually as a distribution of profits. When a corporation earns a profit or surplus, the corporation is able to re-invest the profit in the business and pay a proportion of the profit as a dividend to shareholders.
dividend cash flow?
Your corporation pays dividends out of its available cash. When your corporation issues dividends, this dividend issuance shows as a reduction in cash under financing activities on the cash flow statement.
I will make another video going more in detail about dividend.
