GAFA: Something you need to know

Hey guys. It's been a long break. But I am back with something awesome up my sleeve. So most you may not have heard about GAFA and even if you have heard about it you don't have any idea what it is (or you might know a buttload about it).
GAFA stands for Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon. These are all familiar names, so why create this acronym in the first place. Well the acronym itself might not be of that use but once you add the word monopoly to it, it becomes much understandable.

GAFA monopoly refers to the overall control of these mega industries over the market. You all are fairly aware of the existence of these brands in your life. I mean you trust these brands a lot. Moreover Facebook and Google have the advantage of having a lot of information and they also advertise even if they are not into advertisement sector and their main function is different. These brands end up having earnings more than the GDP of many developing countries and sometimes even more than developed countries.
These brands have the immense power of controlling the market as per their needs.
