Likir - Buddhist monastery
The Likir monastery off the Srinagar-Leh highway is another unmissable experience in Ladakh.
We were lucky to be blessed with fine weather as we rented a couple of bikes and headed to nowhere. And voila we ended up reaching this place!
Oh... wow! This seems like an area where it would be impossible to take a bad photo ... those snowcapped mountains in the background are spectacular. Biking to nowhere... now that is a great day.

I just went click click click and each picture was better than the previous one. The distinctness of the colours and features is so striking.
