The Blue Whale challenge which went viral in 2017 had led to many deaths. The governments and cyber experts in all countries had warned parents to monitor their children's phone and social media usage. Now, another terrifying online game called 'Momo' akin to Blue Whale challenge has created a panic among parents.

Momo is a WhatsApp-based game which gains access to personal information of users and then gives them personal challenges, which escalate at every level. According to The Mirror report, the game begins with a shadowy controller sending violent images to the victim user on WhatsApp.
