Time well spent .

Living in Cape Town with a water 💦 situation that is getting dire the last few months with extreme water shortages. It feels like everywhere we look there is a looming threat.
So when it rains the whole of Cape Town seems to do a little dance of joy.

So today Zach and I spent the afternoon throwing stones into a full flowing river -and exploring with our cousins after a good few days rain.

Living on this river for the my entire life this was not my first trip scrambling the river banks, but the first time in years.
The freezing toes and laughter of the kids was amazing. Hard to believe one of them is actually mine. Where did the last 10 years go?
