On June 9, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath for his third consecutive term as the Prime Minister of India. The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India, in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu. This makes PM Modi the second Indian Prime Minister, after Jawaharlal Nehru, to retain power for a third consecutive term.
