Darker side of Modern World
Life isn't easy as it seems to be. "It goes on...." this is what we hear and experience. But as we open our eyes in this world we came to know its bitter realities. Our mind has been shaped the way capitalists want it to be. In the modern era the thing that has taken control over power is "money". Today money is more important than humans, animals or any living being that plays crucial role in maintaining the system of the world.
Hitherto, capitalism is the only reason for making the world a darker place to live in. From bread to automobiles, everything is designed or made in a way so that people buy and ultimately the profit or money made from those products is accumulated by capitalist class in the form of "surplus". Then comes the concept of impulse buying or purchasing. Impulse buying or purchasing refers to buying of goods in an unplanned behavior. For promoting this concept, electronic media is used as a tool. No doubt science has introduced new things to the world and has modified the word "world" into "global world" therefore media is playing role on its part.
Advertisements, now a days, has a major impact in shaping our minds and behavior. We need things we want but today we also need those things we don't want. This is the simple explanation of how money has gained power over this world. Advertisement is a form of marketing and this tactic, in other words, is adopted by capitalists to persuade people towards buying the products that are producing. These factors not only changes the psyche of human but also give rise to many problems we are facing today.
Isolation is one of the leading factors that we come across. Connecting people globally isn't bad but ignoring your loved ones is something we should have taken care of. Above mentioned facts are the reason to this. We have thousands of friends on Facebook but not a single friend in reality to wipe our tears off. Can see what is happening on around the world but is unaware of those who are living next to us. We are trapped in this modern world widely connected with each other and likewise separated from each other.
Well written!
Keep up the good work.
Thank you
