“All empires are created of blood and fire.”
― Pablo Escobar
Did you know that the world’s most notorious drug lord enjoyed immense loyalty from his counterpart’s and each Colombian more than the government in question to the point that if someone came across huge chunks of money buried in their backyards (he had so much money that his men selectively stored it through digging trenches and storing millions of dollars across Medellin) they hurriedly turned it up to him? Pablo Escobar’s Medellin cartel was the most successful, ruthless and extremist drug cartel clouding the South American state of Columbia and resulted to a widespread loathing by the people due to the pain it caused thousands of people. To comprehend the intricacies of the drug web lets unravel the mystery surrounding its kingpin and his vast control of the cocaine cartel back in the late 70’s.

The most notable analogy employed by Pablo Escobar’s empire spared no one when it involved his business. Interpreted to mean “accept a bribe or the bullet” this phrase was exercised to anyone who came on his way from law enforcement arms, judicial officers, presumed competitors et al. His ruthlessness can be attested by the fact that once a judge presiding over a drug case against Pablo had to wear a mask to avoid being earmarked by Pablo’s mercenaries but unfortunately they had learnt of him earlier on and as soon as the case was over he met his death inside his car outside the Court premises.

Death on the eve of his 44th birthday.
Born on 2nd December 1949 Pablo was feared and worshipped in equal measure. After a tumultuous, revenging and extreme violence rocking the Colombian country for two decades, a police shoot on 1st December 1993 in his maiden operating base Medellin, Pablo died of multiple gun shots leading to a halt on the most notorious drug lord in the country and acknowledged worldwide.
