The cat is out of the bag: Motorola's new Moto Mods now have official release dates. That means there will soon be more ways to upgrade Moto Z phones, such as the Moto Z2 Play, in a snap.
To be exact, the accessories making their way are the Moto GamePad, the JBL SoundBoost 2, the Moto TurboPower Pack, and the series of Moto Style Shells with wireless charging support.

The Moto GamePad is expected to arrive sometime this summer with a $79.99 price tag.
As for what it can do, the name says it all. Just to be clear, though, it's designed to take the mobile gaming experience to the next level, offering a physical D-pad, two control sticks, and four action buttons.

JBL SoundBoost 2 The JBL SoundBoost 2 is scheduled to be available via Motorola's online store on July 10, at Best Buy on July 30, and at Verizon on Aug. 10 for $79.99.
