Floyd Mayweather shuts down MMA talk
Well...that didn't last long and I for one am glad it didn't.
Earlier today, ESPN was happy to take Dana White's word that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is entertaining the idea of fighting in the UFC. While the conversation between Mayweather and the UFC part was true, what was talked about and agreed upon turns out to be a misunderstanding according to Mayweather.
TMZ broke the news in the late afternoon almost as fast as it got started that it was a possibility, Mayweather said that was not the case. The audio where Mayweather clears this up was taken from Fight Hype

Much respect to James Toney for trying it but we don't need another boxer coming in and fighting MMA's elite and embarrassing themselves.
