Miracles Square

Italy is famous for its pasta, pizza, the world-famous fashion designers as well as the Leaning Tower. Is the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which some of us see only in films and some of us try to keep in photographs, is an engineering wonder? Or an engineering error?

It all starts in 1172 with 60 silver coins that Donna Berta di Bernardo gave to build a bell tower next to the city cathedral.

Immediately after this, construction work starts for the tower in Pisa Square called Miracles Square. The year is 1178. It was completed on the second floor of the tower and at this point the engineers realize that something is wrong.
