Also, the dedicated Discord chatroom for MAP authors is open to all participants; you don't have to wait for the contest to be over.
If you have any advice to make the rules simpler I'm listening. It can become a mess trying to count votes. Actually, I could just create a poll on Google docs and let the comment-chaos reign!

I've noticed that people sometimes will upvote my posts but not view them. I don't understand the practice itself but I suppose if it's done collectively there are rewards for such actions for those strapped for time. However, an external poll may work but I think it should be something that the Steem developers could set up in future releases. Facebook has multiple emotions used to react but they're often used to represent opinion polls so maybe Steemit can implement something similar. In the meantime I suppose we'll have to make do! I can understand the pain it must be to count votes and feel that each contestant should only be allowed to share your post, make an original post, and that's it. It would be easier if these limits were observed for counting but definitely people are just going to click wherever they feel will be the quickest way to get the whole process over with.
