The dilemma of a minnows

I knew it from the start, that it won't be easy, but I never knew it will be this challenging.

But as a hustler, and when money is involve, you give everything a trial.

So I decided to join steemit, knowing fully well, I was not good at English nor writing . But all thanks to steemit , I can now write 2-3 sentence without a grammatical error.

My primary motivation for joining steemit, was the money, and now that the money is not forth coming, am face with the dilemma, whether to quit or just hang on, maybe, just maybe my breakthrough may come one day.

The watch words for minnows success in steemit are;
Quality content
Consistency
Making friend
Finding your niches
Up voting and commenting.

These above criteria, if maintained, will develop me to a better person in the long run.

Quality content: will help me develop my writing and also help me express myself better with words.

Consistency: it will help learn perseverance in life.

Making friends: will help me become more sociable.

Finding your niches: it will help me discover my hidden self.

But they are not as easy as they sound. To write a quality content, it will take me 3-4 days. But will the reward worth my effort? I have seen a mediocre post on trending while some quality post lying there unattended to.

To make friends is another ball game of it own, especially in a platform where almost everyone is out there for the money.
Am now in my third month in steemit, with only two friends.
The issue is, most minnows prefer making friends with some guy with huge steemit power, I also have that virus,

Am not close to quitting, especially now that I know I have other things to learn, other than the money.

I encourage my fellow minnows not to give up, I know its tough, but it worth the stay, not because of the money alone, but for other things you might be learning subconsciously.
