What does a Steemian have to do to get some upvotes around here?
So I have been on here for a little while now and have managed to get 525 followers, however, when I look at my posts and see how many people have seen them I am lucky if I reach 15 people! Is the only way for someone like me to get upvotes on posts to upvote my own posts? Does anyone have any advice on this. I am beginning to have my doubts about Steemit but would love to be proven wrong! I thank in advance the 15 people that might see this post.

I"m a newb at this, and yes, I've noticed the same thing- I have over 300 followers, yet rarely do my posts get seen by more than 10-15 people.... if you find an answer- let me know!

I think I would just be so happy if one of my posts even managed to get a few dollars worth of upvoting!!
My advice would be to use upvoting bots at the beginning.

Well I have two upvotes on this post which is more than normal and I have now reached 15 people with this post. That makes it one of my more successful posts even if it is short and pretty uninteresting!

I have managed to get more than 3.2 with upvoting bots. I paid 1.3 SBD for that, so without curation, I will get 1,3 SBD and 1,3 steem power (free steem power here). You just need to be careful which bot to pay.
I got 17 upvotes form higher ranking users (bots) and that raised my ranking level from 33.3 to 35.5
And what is more important, something is happening ! :))
It's not much, but can be scaled up. I just didn't have more SBD on the account. With some clever and moderate investment, you can get even on trending page and pick up some additional votes and follows from there.

Interesting to know! I will have a look into it. I have powered up all my SBD (I know I don't have many but just want to build slowly) so I may have to wait to do it but I will find out how in the meantime.
