If your Steemit Strategy is failing then ...

Do these 3 simple things!

REQUIRED

1. Find 1 to 2 Steemians that you will consistently invest in.

Are you a new Steemit user?

Find people who provide you value and reward them for the service they provide you. Upvote, comment, and resteem!

Study their writing styles and their engagement strategies, then try to follow their example.

Are you an experienced Steemit user?

Find people who you can mentor and help shape their Steemit future.

Yes, maybe you are struggling too, but you have something to offer. Everyone has something to offer!

2. Write thoughtful comments for at least 10 posts each day.

By planning in advance to comment, you not only are building relationships with other Steemit community members, but you also are taking steps to improve your writing skills.

Both community and quality content are essential components of a healthy Steemit blog.

OPTIONAL

Submit a new story every 2-3 days.

Some of your favorite Steemians did not post new articles when they first joined Steemit. Their first and most important task was to connect with other people and develop a following.

But once you have a following, you can leverage your Steemit experience by writing new posts.

As you develop your strategy, remember to

  • Write quality content that is relevant to your audience.
  • Consistently write posts. Try to write the same amount of posts each week and consider publishing your posts at the same time each week.
  • Play around with the timing of your posts. If you followers are not engaging in the morning then test a post in the afternoon to see if you get engagement.
  • Find visual aides that complement your posts. Great pictures grab peoples' attention.
  • Think about your Steemit post titles. Boring titles equal low engagement.
  • Spend some time each week thinking about the posts that you will write about for the week/month. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

I don't have it all figured out (yet), but I am willing to put the time and effort required to become a better Steemit writer and community member.

I hope you are too! Keep Steeming!

Hard part is to build an audience.
Thank you.

@pouchon, thanks for the support. I agree that it is hard work to build an audience.

I think that sometimes we forget that out Steemit blog is a type of service-based business. Our followers (or audience) are our clients. If we do not actively engage our clients and try to get new clients then we need to questions the reason why we started our business.

Not now all businesses need a lot of clients to be successful. But it is important to find the right clients or customers.

Great tips and value I believe :)!! Thank you!! We all need a positive reinforcement. Also, I liked this one a lot: 'if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.' Thank you. Upvoted and resteemed! I am new to Steemit myself so your advices are very helpful. Greetings from Italian Swiss border at the moment :)!! Ruxandra

@ruxonsteemit, thanks for the comment, upvote and resteem. I am honored!

Welcome to Steemit. I am always glad to hear from new Steemians. Sometimes the Steemit journey is challenging and hard, but it is worth it. If you make a plan today and follow through, I feel confident that you will meet many exciting people and make an impact in our community.

Thank you @sumatranate! My pleasure!! Greetings from Como Lake now, Italy :)!!

Staying positive is important.

One of the most important in fact. If we control our minds we can accomplish more than we thougtht!! 😇👏🏻👏🏻

most important is that you doing all this day by day and don't focus on the funds you earn

@detlev, that is a great point. Consistency is important. Making a plan and staying persistent with that plan goes a long way.

One thing is for sure, you learn fast! ;) I like those kind of posts with tips to be a better Steemian :)

@jamisa, I really appreciate the time and effort you have given to my posts. You are going a great job of developing relationships on Steemit. Keep it up!

Thanks, that's my favorite part! :)

@wilx, thanks for the comment. You are correct! We need to give our best effort and persevere, and then great things happen.

I've been here almost two months, and everything I learned about the platform, I learned from articles and from direct communications with Steemians. Good advice.

@lilrut, I am glad to hear that the Steemit community has been available and ready to provide support. It is a great community!

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it!

This is very true. Commenting on other people's posts is just as important, if not the most important part after you've written a handful of your own original posts.

I'd suggest once you've posted between 5 and 10 original ideas, you can begin to branch out into the Comment space. You need to have your own content visible on your blog page, or potential future followers will never know why they should follow you.

Great post!

Thanks for these advice. I think this article is very useful for all the newbies like me.
I really appreciate this help.

@ceciliaencasa, glad you liked the article. So glad that I can help!

@evolved08gsr, I like your idea about 5-10 original posts. But to be honest when I first joined steemit, I did not have any original ideas. I was kinda stumbling around.

But I agree that their are some Steemians (myself included now) who have a hard time following someone new until they are able to answer the WHY? The answer to my why is valuable content that is relevant to my life and interests.

So there are some great content creators who I do not follow, because their content is not applicable to me.

Good advice. Thanks for sharing :)

@theleapingkoala, you are very welcome. Have a blessed day!
