Not interested in crypto, have no clue about crypto and no, I don't care to learn (at least right now). But i wrote blogs before...i use em as my journals sorta speak. But my man is into crypto and he "pushed" me into steemit. My first impressions were just...well not the best. I felt so out of space and time. I told him i will give it a try but also stated: this is not blogging, this about making coin and most posts portrait that. Like a bad date when you can feel how desperate the other person is to nail it. :) I doubt I will "feel at home" here.
Was quite lucky to find #yunk almost at start. The tag is more people based. Community.
So no niche. My post mainly derive from personal life. May it be in a comic style or just a train of thoughts. I don't follow a blog cuz of a niche. I follow people.
There are no hidden charts and strategies in my bra. I don't need em. I don't wonder why one post made it and the other didn't. As cliche and unbelivable as it may sound: I'm here to have fun. :)
Sorry for such a long reply!
Wait, I don't know #yunk! Something to do later!
See, I think about strategy some because it really does act a bit like a marketplace. I do want to be paid to write, and maybe trying different size boxes for myself helps me focus.
I wonder if there are two sides to Steemit, the more community-minded side, and the criers at the bazaar like me. Followed.
I know exactly what you mean and i dont judge noone. I watch my t's and i's too. I puts some thought in my posts...but its all done for a different outcome. Nothing wrong with it.
As two sides of steem it....yes. I know i was looking for a community and was like....what is this place? Like everyone on its own....as u've said it...shouting to be hurd? Selfboting posts...wtf is this and what am i doing here? :) And i think thats the main issue with steemit. I dont wanna log and feel like i came to work....i want to feel like I just got home from work and now i can relaxe, sit down and have a cup of coffee. :D I dont want yo to be my competitive coworker (i have those at work)....if any of this makes sense to you. :)
Id follow you but then id have to unfollow you first and i think that might be a bit silly...so just gonna leave it as it is. :)
I like how some of the off-platform mechanics keep me challenged, since I'm in it for being rewarding for writing. Then the two sides meet in the middle for the comments section!
