MinnowBooster Needs your Vote!
Today we are taking a look at the new feature over at Minnowbooster where we are asking you to sell us your vote.

You see the big gap in the middle there where there is no supply for us to take specific SBD payments to give you an upvote? That's where we need your help! We need people of all sorts of SP power to sell their votes to Minnowbooster so we can fill in the gap, and accept a wider array of SBD vote Boosts.
How can you take part?
Let's pay another visit to Minnowbooster and take a look at the Edit Info Page. Today we're going to focus on the "Sell your Vote" aspect Circled Below
In the Circle here we are going to enable "Sell your Vote to Minnowbooster". When you enable this, and log in with your Steem Active key, you are telling us to use your vote as needed to fulfill Minnowbooster upvote orders. Basically, you can help us fill in this gap. This will cost you Voting Power, but in return we send you Steem Dollars.
In the line of the circle, I have a button which is not enabled labelled "Enable Automatic withdraw of your minnowbooster balance" by clicking this, we will automatically send your payments each day to your Steem account.
Below the button to enable selling us your vote is a slider, letting you determine at what Voting Power we can use your vote. So if you don't want us to buy your vote when you go below a certain VP, then set the slider accordingly and Minnowbooster will pass on to the next person selling their vote until such time as your SP is back above the desired level. It is recommended that you keep your slider around 80 - 90% in order to maintains some VP for manual curation.
This is also a great way to keep your Voting Power working for you if you are going on vacation, or otherwise going to be unable to manually use your voting power. Just adjust your settings as needed in your dashboard, and enjoy the benefits.
So What's in it for you? We're going to pay you for the right to use your upvote. What would have gone to Minnowbooster for the upvote, comes to you instead, minus a facilitation percentage held by Minnowbooster. You also get some awesome Curation Rewards for those upvotes on posts you might not have seen.
This option, along with filling delegations in the market, have much better APR than delegating to the Minnowbooster bot itself; or powering up the Minnowbooster bot. Our recommendation is to choose the option of selling your vote or filling open market delegations versus using the older bot related options.

@reggaemuffin this is a bit off-topic, but currently the max daily bid for @minnowbooster is 5 SBD however there are no votes available under around 11 SBD based on the graph on the site, so it's basically unusable :-(
I would happily send 11 SBD or more, but I can't due to the daily limit. Is the service now only going to be able to be used by people who got accepted into the mega bid thing?
Please let me know, I'm a big fan and supporter of the service but it's frustrating that I'm unable to use it.
Big votes are prone to abuse, so we want to be able to guarantee that they are used for good.
I'm sorry that things suck, most of it is the way steem works and us trying 'to do the right thing' as we don't just want to upvote every crap people pay money for.
But that "IS" the steem concept!

And this is killing the platform.
Extraction of value from the platform does NOT contribute to the platform!
Plankton/minnows post 1,2,3,4 times....... earn $0.10 then leave the "circle jerk" doing it's thing... but that will not grow the base from 400K -> 4m or 40m.
Why can't old whales with rose glasses on see this? (or the 50% leaving stats!)

@minnowbooster is now a private enterprise. This is their method of locking non white-listed accounts out.
As a user of steemvoter, I'm voting here automatically for a service I'm currently excluded from.
Last week I was autovoted for a football game summarised in Spanish.
Not that impressed at present, and am hoping a solution can be found that suits all.

I always say in the comments to buildawhale, makeawhale, booster, randowhale etc that the system needs to be changed into a "book" your bid to the voting power for the next available bid..
For example if you wanna make a bid of 11 or more $ then you should be able to by waiting on whenever the bot can assure you the vote.
I am sorry my english is very bad but I think you get the idea...instead of dividing the vote over the bidders, divide the bidders over the vote in a line like the one in the airport check in...imagine if the one that stands at the last position decided to move in first position and pass everybody without even saying sorry...lol
That's why the bot should be upgraded to book all bids with all kind of money, small large doesn't matter, order them in base of time of bid and ultimately tell the bidder that his vote will arrive in 2 hours or 3 or even in a day or even 2 (not exceeding the 7 days ofcourse)

yea I thought of it ..booking could last for years XD...boy it is complicated but with your help and with experience an "equilibrium" will be reached... maybe introducing a super team of curating...or making 5 more bots

I think the best solution for the bid bots is to put a limit on the bids that accepted to prevent bidders going at a lose. But this will also decrease the bots' profit. But at least, you don't have unsatisfied customer.
Put a code or command to the bot not to accept any more bids when the vote values are on 1:1 ratio.
that we already do for a few months :) And people complain that they can't get a vote.
Woah such hostility... I see a bunch of people in the comments who are upset and venting their frustrations at the way @minnowbooster is operating lately.
I get it - the last couple weeks have been pretty screwed up, but c'mon can anyone name ANY other service on Steemit that does even a fraction of the genuine "minnowboosting" that comes from @reggaemuffin and the rest of the people working over there? Yes there is a profit motivation, but so what - no person or organization should be expected to be completely altruistic, hell even charities pay their employees.
I have personally benefitted from the "goat" more times than I can remember, and i'll bet most of the people reading this have too. Just look back in your own posts and see who gave you your first real payout, your first "number of upvotes" milestone, etc. etc. etc.
Now I'm the first to admit that I have very little insight into the mechanics of @minnowbooster, but I do know that without their support, myself and MANY other minnows would have a much harder go at things.
This is just my opinion (and we all know what they are worth), but I say lets give 'em a minute to figure shit out. If past performance is any indication, they wont disappoint...
I am just wondering why give 100 people upvotes on 100% when you could give thousands an normal upvte of 5%? This has nothing to do with minnows anymore and I am not the only one thinking that. I heard alot of complains since your latest post about the list.. but you probably have your own interest. First you say you wanna provide as much vores as possible and then suddenly people can run with 100% votes... and we whi wanne send 5$ cant even do....
Except for the TOS preventing people from abusing, I am not sure what they are doing the last couple of weeks... Minnowbooster should be here to help (and boost) minnows, instead a select group is getting huge benefits while its becoming kind of a buy/sell voting service. It's still by far my favourite service, but not sure I like where this is going...

Looks like a pretty profitable voting bot, but not really what I am looking for. Since I only blog 2-3 times a week I would with luck just break about even.
The sp is growing. And we are giving free subs to those that review it.
Minnow booster is Dolphin booster nowadays.
That is exactly why we need sellers. 5% is already $15 or so. And the rounding issues of steem require us to vote bigger.
You could create another account with less SP, for the medium weight votes.
Well that is what we do with sell vote. We don't control our delegation, so we can't just split or move it.
I assume this is why @randowhale is split into three accounts, to avoid the rounding / thresholds while voting on smaller sums.
The truth is MB were created for profit, purely profit. All the reasons and justifications they have are fake statements just to cover up their greed.

For the mean time, while we can't fill the gap. Why don't we increase the limits like the daily limit and weekly limit so we can still use the higher SBD up-vote.
I have tried and did sold my vote but I cancelled it immediately when I found out that the return is not profitable. My vote from 80% - 100% is about $0.27 - $0.31 but my returns were only 0.075 SBD
