To qualify for the minnow big brother fund as a minnow:
- your account must be older than 14 days.
- your account must have more that 7 posts.
- your account must not have any post with earnings more than a dollar ($1).
- your account's reputation must be 25 to 28.
- your account must not have been a candidate in the last week.
To qualify for the minnow big brother fund as a big brother:
- your account must be designated or nominated by a minnow.
- your account must not fall under the category of minnows.
*That is at least 29 and above reputation.
*Above 14 days old on steemit.
*Must have a post with earnings more than a dollar ($1).
*Must have more than seven (7) posts in the past 14days. - your account must not have been a big brother in the past week. I.e. you can't be big brother every week.
- your account must be older then 30 days.
AWARDS AS WINNER MINNOW.
- Your account will be boosted from Current Reputation (25 - 28) to any reputation between 30 and 40.
- A post will be selected from your account to be boosted by a partner upvote bot to ensure that you also have at least 1 post with more than $1 earning.
- And you will be given access to our Discord and WhatsApp groups, where you will be able to learn effective tips and tricks to help you succeed on steemit.

- Thursdays to Saturdays: voting for favourite candidates.
- Sundays: Proclamation of results and the award of prizes.
The minnow big brother fund will allow even non steemians to participate in the votes. This will give them hope even before they get verified that they will have a chance to grow once they are verified. Also this will allow them to already begin to participate in activities on steemit even while they are waiting for their accounts to be confirmed. We at minnow big brother fund thinks this will greatly foster the steemian community within the blockchain and beyond.

You can use the time that you have to encourage someone or some people around you so that when their accounts are ready as minnows you can be their big brother.

I wish i knew about something like this. My account is about two months old now. And i have one post with > $1. Anyway, have upvoted and resteemed. This is definitely useful for anyone new who may be following me and has not been able to figure out the way to fight bots & grab attention.

IF YOU DON'T QUALIFY AS A MINNOW YOU CAN QUALIFY AS A BIG BROTHER.
GET A QUALIFIED MINNOW TO DESIGNATE YOUR AS THEIR BIG BROTHER. AND BOTH ACCOUNTS WILL BE BOOSTED.
