Built a new 6x GTX 1080Ti mining rig - Earning 35$ a day
Recently i built a new 6x gtx 1080Ti rig.
The cost was around 6000$ for everything. I bought these cards around 2 weeks ago and at that time these were in stock. At the moment there is not even 1 1080ti that is in stock.
So far the rig has earned me around 35$ a day for the past week. I expect to get my investment back in 5..6 months but couple be way quicker because i keep 50% of the coins i mine for holding and sell the other half to cover expenses and maybe even build more rigs.
This exact setup is using around 1300W and hashrate on equihash is around 4300 sols.
Total i have 3 rigs built. Two rigs are with 6x 1070Ti cards and this new one is with 6x 1080Ti. The total hashrate i get from my farm using equihash is 10500 sols at around 3000W.

I want to if rigs would need an external cooling system.
How many coins do you mine with it?
My rigs don't need any external cooling because they are in my basement and its quite cold there. Also all the cards that i have bought have at least 2 or 3 fans for better cooling.
I mine on nicehash and it pays out in btc, on average i get like 0.0033 btc per day.
Wait you have 3 rigs running in your basement, and no ventilation? What kind of climate do you live in?
