Hello sellow steemians and miners :) this post is mostly created for newbies who is interested in mining but dont know what to mine, where to mine and with what to mine,so lets start

If you want mine some coins you need GPU (or graphics card) of course you can mine with almost any modern cards, but more profitable card for my vision is GTX 1060 3gb - cost of this card and payback period is ideal. At this moment I'm using GTX 1070 Strix which cost is bouble of GTX 1060 but hashrate is only 1.5X more, yes I bought it not for mining but for gaming,I am mining only when PC is free :) for real mining I plane buy at last 8 cards 1060 so my advice is GTX 3gb for Zec there is no needed more memory also Nvidia cards are'nt very good in ethereum mining so if you want mine something different then ethereum, GTX 1060 3gb is best choice.
If you want mine ethereum, then more profitable will be AMD cards like RX470, 480, 570 and 580 they cost less then green team cards and on same price AMD cards are more profitable.Other details will be in next post tomorrow,so follow to stay updated, see ya soon :)

Are you saying you're mining Zcash with one 3 gb card? And when the PC is free, do you mean free electricity, or free to use (someone else is using it)? Thanks.

No I have GTX 1070 which I bought for gaming, but some times I use it for mining when PC is free, electricity is not free but it cost is very low (~4 Cent/KWh),I'm trying to say that 1060 is giving 250 SOL's and 1070 350 SOLs so GTX 1060 is more profitable cause it costs half of 1070

Ah okay, that makes sense.
