A little story
Hey steemians,
I have heard a nice story a few days earlier and have translated it from german to english. Hope it makes sense.
There is a father with two sons and he is an alcoholic. He has an really good friend, that he knows since an eternal time.This good friend knows also his kids and anytime the father dies. After some time the friend met one of the sons from these alcoholic, on the street , on his knees, begging for alms, scruffy and unshaved. The friend asks him: "how could this happened, how could that become of you?Why?". And the son says: "What else would have happened to me with such a father?With such a lousy father?". He understand that and goes, until he met the second son in a suit, neat, smells good, looks good, drives a nice car, has all that he needs and looks healthy. And the friend asks him:" How the hell could that become of you? How did you do that? What did you do for it?" The son answers: " What else would have happened to me with such a father?With such a lousy father?Where i saw that, where i met that?

And the reason, because one son is like that, and the other son is like that, is their mindset.It doesn't matter where you come from, more important is where you want to go.While one son thinks everything is rigid, that everything is fixed, that he was born with a certain talent or was born with no talent at all, you are either born as a winner or not.The other son thinks i can grow, i can learn, i can make something out of myself, i can change, just as everything else grows in this world.
I find this story very nice and it brings me to contemplate. Hope you like it.

It's a really good story. Everything that happens to you will affect you, that's for sure, but you can decide how it will affect you. The second brother used it to grow. That's what we all should do. Thanks for sharing the story :)
