I think it's a brave choice! Very often I say that I would like to live in a hermitage or in a Tibetan monastery, but I don't know if I could really do it! But sooner or later I would like to do it, maybe it will happen as with you: I will feel that it is the right time to do it!
And then I think that if you write you are never alone: there are our ideas, our characters, our stories, it's not bad! Absurdly I often manage to concentrate even in the most total chaos, maybe I'm crazy, but sometimes I get anxious too much silence !!
