It is important to take regular breaks
Waking up in the morning, getting yourself ready and children ready, running to the school, come home and complete household chores then cook and you realise it is time to pickup the children and then helping with their homework and working although part time and work from is burning me out.
It must be more difficult for mothers who are full time and single. We become machines in this system which I hate to be. I feel it is very important to take regular breaks, unwind and relax. I believe taking small breaks every day and not postponing to the weekends as it can be usual busy on the weekends as well. Even it is a short break in a day it would help us to stop chasing time becoming slaves of the system and time.
We need to get out of the mindset that we need to do this after this, thinking like a machine. This wasn’t the case 10 years ago. I don’t think this is healthy for us or our children. We might pass these traits of anxiety to our children which is a terrible thing.
Moreover taking regular breaks increases productivity and efficiency and makes you feel as a person and not a machine.
