Before Giving Up… Know That A Perspective for the Future Can Save You Today!
Hi, Steemians!
When we face failure, a heavy weight falls on our conscience. It is as if we owe it to our self to achieve something of value.
When people give up, they find it easy to excuse themselves and destroy the weight on their conscience by simply thinking that they have tried and given it their best.
Well, trying alone is not enough.
Trying and failing is not enough.
You need to try, fail, and then try again!
Having an educated perspective for your future can help you in times of need, especially in times of mental need, when you are desperate for anything and willing to give up.
Here is a troubling thought for those of you who are contemplating the idea of giving up:
What if you decided, in this very moment, to continue for another year?
How many opportunities are you going to see again?
How many of them will fail you?
How many of them will make you proud?
What if you give up now and gain nothing of significance for years to come?
What if you achieved success were you to try for another year?
You see, having a perspective for the future is not at all bad.
It is the thing that gets us through the most difficult failures we come to face.
Another perk of having perspective for your future is about moments where folly takes the place of wisdom.
When you are tempted to do something that is wrong or stupid, you could always think about your perspective.
‘Is doing that in the best interest of my future self? Am I going to regret this later on? Am I missing out on opportunities if I don’t act?’
Constantly ask these questions when you are tempted to do something that you know or feel to be wrong.
Your wisdom will save you. All you need is perspective.
Now you may be wondering about the perspective that I am going on and on about.
Well, there are many things which constitute a powerful perspective.
In order to know them, we need to dive deeper into the visualization of a future where you are proud and fulfilled in your life.
For now, ask yourself this: What if I don’t give up today?
What if I keep going on?
The answer to that question will assure that you will achieve the success that is waiting for you, rather than giving up and gaining nothing for an eternity to come!

In good time comes this publication. Sometimes we want to follow a business but if they are not given the conditions we want to decide. The economy insists on saying: already ready until here. I do not know when they are on this plane. But really our mental health first. Thank you for these publications that help us to face ourselves and make a turn at the best moment. Thanks @chbartist. Your posts always seem to hit the mark and I can always relate to them within my personal journey. Today I made a decision that wasn't wise. I wish I had read these words beforehand, it can be hard to fight the demon that leads to bad choices sometimes when you can't see clearly that there is a better future.
When you feel like you have but one future and it appears bleak it can be hard to weigh up what is worth spending energy fighting for and what isn't. Hope is a powerful thing, it can provide inspiration and allows you to press on when you feel stuck in a dead end, it gives you motivation to work hard but when that hope disappears or you begin to feel that the promise that hope brings is fake then it is easy to think that maybe I should stop wasting energy and give up.
Sometimes you need to actually be able to take a small bite from the carrot on a stick that you are moving towards.
We all need to feel the joy of small victories along our journey, when the deck has been stacked against you for a long time and it doesn't seem that is going to change then motivation recedes and it becomes so tempting to say 'screw it, why bother?'
When this happens then it is easy to take the instant gratification option even though it goes against your future vision instead of pushing through pain and suffering for the long term goal.
I guess you need to know that your goal is an option not just a pipe dream sometimes.
It is easy to get caught up in your journey when you can't see a clear path.
Thanks for the important messages you post @chbartist they give me food for thought every time.
