Mind Games Contest #1 - Answer

MY ANSWER:

I will place one red marble 🔴in one bowl, and then place the rest of the marbles in the other bowl (49 red 🔴and 50 blue🔵)

With this, I already have a 50% or 50/50 chance of choosing the bowl with just one red marble and live. If I choose the other bowl, I still have almost a 50/50 chance at picking one of the 49 red marbles.

MY ANSWER:

Jack is not the murderer, because his brother is the murderer.

Dan is also not the murderer since he ran a marathon, and the murderer recently had leg amputation.

Ben is not the murderer if he just only met Jack, since Jack and the murderer grew up together in Seattle.

Now, the ones left on the list are Jeff and Mike. Jeff wants to install Ben's new computer next week, so he's still alive and must be the murderer. Jack and Dan are also alive. Ben is also alive since he made plans with Jeff to install his laptop. Mike didn't grow up with Jack. This means that Jeff killed Mike.

The man crosses the river with the chicken 🐔 since the fox 🦊and corn 🌽 are safe together. He leaves the chicken on the other side then goes back.

The man then takes the fox to the other side. Since it's not safe to leave the fox and chicken together, he takes the chicken with him back to the other side.

The chicken and corn can't be left together so he leaves the chicken and he brings the corn across the river and leaves it with the fox.

He then goes back to get the chicken then cross the river again.
