How will a system so indebted ever dig itself out of this mess? The millennial generation and younger are on average massively indebted and many haven’t even found a permanent job or still in school. Overburdened by debt. The system is designed this way to make sure people stay in the rat race.
In your opinion, is this the result of a rotten culture and media? Or is this designed to keep people under control?
It is really scary to think about. Nowadays a college degree is the equivalent of a high school diploma from 20+ years ago. So in order to get even just a halfway decent job, I need to spend an extra 4+ years in school and rack up a boatload of debt. Then I can get that corporate job so I can pay off my debt and make the rich even richer. The system is very rigged.
I am hoping that Steemit can be a platform where I can contribute to the world while getting myself out of the rat race.
I'm hoping so as well. The system is a complete failure and it's up to the free market to create a way out!
