Two Milestones
My first milestone is something I've been working on since HF20.
I remember I had to buy up to dolphin at that point just to start claiming accounts for Resource Credits. Now I'm a dolphin x3. Time flies.
This is in addition to the 20+ accounts I've already claimed and have the keys for. It's crazy to think that I'm allowed to just create Steem accounts like that in a decentralized manner. It's little things like this that people really take for granted, but it's a big deal.
I predict that one day the 3 Steem cost of creating an account will be a significant financial burden for some dapps and individuals, and many community members will rally to have it lowered. Time will tell.
My other big milestone is that I've hit #8 on the rich-list for Leo. Seeing this recent volatility in the Leo market has made me wonder if I should be providing it with liquidity. We'll see.
Regardless, I have a huge incentive to bring value to this network. My ultimate goal is to enable my peer-to-peer gambling dapp using SteemEngine smart contracts. That way the loser automatically pays the winner trustlessly, using Steemleo coins.
Nicely done! I had no idea what those ticket things were at the bottom of steemworld but now I do! Could be pretty useful for onboarding new folks and music fans when this place is a little more user friendly!
Do you know much RC it costs instead of steem? Although I may just start buying up accounts each day and see how it goes.

I would never advise buying accounts for 3 Steem unless you were running a dapp and onboarding users. You can only lose money or break even on that bet.
You'll have to free up some of your delegations if you want to claim them with RCs.
I think you need around 5k sp to be able to claim accounts.
@preparedwombat says the RC cost ranges from 8 trillion to 11 trillion RCs commonly.
Yea I'm not going to be spending steem on the accounts so RC is the best bet.
Currently giving dlease a try after watching a video by exyle on them. Found it to be doubly as profitable vs "curating" although I still comment and upvote from time to time. I think you probably need to have >20k SP for manual curation to be profitable and keeping your VP above 80%.
So until those delegation leases come back, going to have to do that "authoring" thing again 😁
Thanks for the Intel.

Nice, I'm glad you are using dlease.io, if you have any issues please let me know. We are very proud of this product and the fact that it turns Steem into an investor-grade network.
Hey @thecryptodrive!
I've been in the dlease discord and the only issue I had looks like it has already been sorted overnight. Really like the concept of it to make SP work for both the person delegating and lessee. Nice work on this and website looks smooth.
Think there is a little bug on the dashboard section where you go to your list of active delegations in the table. When you press the right arrow on the table to switch columns, that works, but when you want to go back to the left column and press the left arrow, the table is empty - this is when viewing through mobile phone browser

Hey nick, thanks so much for the positive feedback, yeah we are still paying out some of the last two days when there was a glitch communicating with the nodes, yours was paid today, still more to go.
On mobile try pressing the arrow and then clicking on the tab title, it doesnt autorefresh, we are battling to find a good css dev that can help solve small ui glitches like that, if you know of any let me know.
Thanks a lot, that worked a treat on mobile. Unfortunately, I don't know any css devs but if I come across one I'll let you know about it. Otherwise, keep up the great work - I got the back payment now so thanks for that! Encouraged a couple more people to give dlease a go to make their SP work for them (fionasfavourites just delegated 200SP earlier :) )
Awesome thanks so much!
Better build your Peer-to-peer gambling app onto smts..
SE isnt decentralized
It's going to be plug and play to everything.
All I need Steem for is decentralized input/output.
Theoretically I could even adapt to other chains that provide decentralized input/output.
I have been claiming accounts too since they went into effect.
I have a couple hundred myself. I dont know how that will translate into the future but I agree, the fact they are being decentralized in this manner is a positive. Every 5 days, I claim a few more.
Congrats on being in the top 8. I am closing in on 20K LEO...it is a level I am excited to hit.
Thanks for the reminder to claim some tickets. I normally don't let it hit 100% before claiming. I wonder if they will have some value one day, either monetary or community.
Their value is capped to 3 steem total.
I just think 3 Steem is going to be a lot in ten years.
All we have to do is wait for the onboard process to be overrun and we'll be able to sell them for the 3 Steem. That's really the best we can hope for from a direct-gain perspective.
It will probably happen next bubble... maybe the one after that, who knows. They come and go so fast compared to the legacy economy.
Yes, 3 steem today is not much but 10 years from now when the inflation is ~3.5% and things look different. Even without that value, there might be other values like bring able to populate a tokenized community with accounts. How many SMTs for an account to ve created? Might be a good way to get some early stake.
Nice milestone man! I’m hoping to hit dolphin by the end of the year. Either through regular productivity or just buying in a bit more before prices hopefully moon.
Account tickets are great, I’ve claimed a few for friends (none that have become active, bastards) thankfully 3 Steem per is a pretty easy lift. Eventually that won’t be so easy though!
Glad to hear physical therapy is still something you’re doing. Can’t give it up!
Congrats on those milestones! Objectives are important. I had set my goal to reach 1500 SP by the end of the year, back in April when I finally reached minnow status. Thought I might be a little ambitious, but that goal seems perfectly achievable now! Time will tell ;)
