'Hello Hello Steemit!' is an engagement activity with a weekly topic. All Steemians are welcome to join, and I encourage all newbies to participate and start earning by engaging with each other in my post comments below. I understand some of us felt frustrated for participating in some contests but never get anything. The thing is you felt discouraged as you have done your best but still, you cannot win even one contest. Also, you fight very hard as newbies to get people to notice you but your post went empty, sometimes not even one comment and your earning is 0.00. You felt so demoralized that it affected your mood to keep on going here. I want to give a remedy to that by holding this activity regularly but please keep in mind that this is not a contest though, it's an engagement activity where everyone will be paid for your good comments and participation in the comments section below when the post-payout has been done. Get to know each other, get acquainted, introduce yourself if you'd like to, I will curate accordingly. Read the rules below before participating.

How do you determine your milestone achievements in Steemit?
I would say as long as you keep going and never lose hope here, you are already a winner. A milestone achievement is subjective to each individual. Perhaps you count your number of followers, your reputation level, getting to the next level from redfish to minnow, numbers of your post etc etc. Kindly share with us your thoughts. Thank you and Have Fun all!
I will give anyone who can respond to my post with good comments and engage with each other throughout that particular week, a certain SBD amount. As my power has not reached a level where I can upvote handsomely, so I will count your engagements that are good, accumulated it and then I will pay you through my wallet the total amount after the 7-days post-payout done, For example, 0.05 per good comment x 10 comments = 0.5 SBD. Aside from this, you will earn also from my upvote although not much, just 0.03 per upvote but if you accumulate them, it is an easy daily earning for you plus the weekly one.
As the project is new, so I will update the Terms & Conditions as we move along to tighten the rules. At this moment, here are the rules to follow:

- You must resteem and upvote this post to encourage participation and publicity;
- You must participate in comments below, follow topic of the week when commenting;
- Engage with each other with good, positive comments in the comments section, not only to me;
- You can comment as many as you want, there is no limit to the count of your comments. The more comments done, the more SBD that you will receive;
- Comments like "Nice Post, Good Post, Amazing Post, Great Post, I like your post" will not be counted.
- Do not Spam.
- No vulgar words.

Hi @rexusmo, I am very happy you check my post. I cannot use this post to participate in your regular contest since it's receiving good response among steemians. I hope to be able to break the ice among newbies that steemit is not only just about chasing the whales and the steem power. Because without the unity here, there is no way anyone could be successful. The system work if we support each other and at least unite in certain way to ensure everyone feel connected and hence in the end creating a stronger steem blockchain. Hey, congratulations on making your goal!
I just recently wrote a post about my Steemit Goals.
For now, my main focus is on building the disciplines and habits within myself. That is why my goal is to post something of substantive value and quality at least once a day for 100 days straight (currently on day 9). While I love to see followers and SP increase, that is not something I have as much control over. I figure if I focus on what I can do, and am smart about strategy, then the other things will come.

That's quite a goal @ssimkins99. I know I've read some of your posts, but I am wondering if you will be including reflections on the process. I think that would be interesting to read about. I think you're right to focus more on what you contribute, and let everything else follow (although I'd also be interested in hearing about your strategy). My strategy has simply been to find people that write things I find interesting, but that's easier said than done here. The last week has been a goo done, and I have gotten involved in some cool projects. It looks like I am going to be writing about running, which is not what I expected when I started.
That's a great suggestion! I had not really thought about writing reflections, but I love that idea. Maybe I'll do a half-way post and a final reflection. I expect those to be quite different, as things seem to change quickly on here while just starting out.
I am actually in the process of writing a more general strategy post. I've had several in-person friends, who have thought about joining Steemit, ask me about what exactly it is, or how to use it. So, I thought why not write a post about it that they can read and others might benefit from as well. I will be including my approach to the platform in that post.

Hi all, yeah I thought also about reflection while doing this project. I will do a review of all the contents here and pick up the best one to highlight in relation to the subject. A summary of comments that will provide everyone the reflection of what was written. All good comments must not be forgotten and must be highlighted for the benefits of others.

I think that would be really valuable @ainie.kashif. I just finished teaching my interpersonal communication class, and today I was leading the class through some exercises that help set up the research they will do later in the semester. Not to be too technical but we follow a research method called hermeneutical phonomenology, which basically means we use multiple texts (including personal narratives) to explore lived experience, or communication phenomena. Looking more closely at post comments, and more important the way we connect through them, is an example of this type of research. Looking at details gives us deeper insight into the dynamics. How do we connect? What does it mean to connect? What value do these connections really have to us? Just of few of the questions that could be explored.

That's a great philosophy @syedkashifhussai, steemit is a sea... it's full of adventures and it's so wide. We cannot possibly cover them all, but if all of us united in a ship, we can reach our destination for sure, rather than swimming alone and drown without reaching the destination that we want.

How do you determine your milestone achievements in Steemit?
I think for me at this stage of my Steemit journey, the following next milestones are relevant:
1000 followers, a 50 reputation score and steempower of 100SP / total account value of $1000. I am continuously powering-up by converting my steem and SBD to SP to achieve these targets, By when? Lets say within the next 3 months. I will continuously curate posts of others and post quality posts myself. I think it is important to identify other Steemians who post articles that interest you and whose writing style you like. Enough for now...
Oh wow I like your points there... I am really naive about powering up, buying steem, converting SBD etc etc. I really dunno how to do it, need to learn that. I am confident you can achieve your target before 3 months. You have a quality that others can like your thoughts easily. I did the same, but here time is the essence plus voting power easily drop dead hahahah
Have either of you considered buying steem outright and then transferring to your account to power up? I don;t know if I would have done so if I didn't already have some crypto profits from last year, but it is not too difficult, and just buying a little is a good way to learn more about how it all works. @aine.kashif, I looked at your wallet, and you have a deent amount of SBD saved up. You could exchange that for Steem, then transfer the Steem back in and power it up to get a boost.
Hi @cstrimel, I have considered that for a long long time since I joined but I have no idea how to do it, been reading some postings here. Seriously, all this technology is making me headache. So since it's so confusing to do, I did invest in a mining with @cfminer, that's a 50 SBD investment and the return is slow but steady. After doing that my SBD now drop to an amount substantial to pay out for this project. I hope I will accumulate more SBD and power up my steem soonest.
