How good are we in listening? I'm sure most of us are better in talking :)

I want to talk a bit about this topic, because it's interesting and I was thinking about it lately...
Have you noticed that most of us don't know how to listen? And some of us think that they are so smart
that all of us should listen to them :) That's arrogance, if you ask me!
When I need my questions to be answered - I listen! That's the only way we can learn something. And how can we learn if we know everything???
Do we practice the ability to see different points of view or are we practicing reinforcement of our boundaries? We all have an ability to listen, but maybe the question should be - do we want to hear?
Definition of listening is - The active process of receiving information, understanding and responding to spoken and unspoken.
