Let's make it happen: funded-by-Steemians loan on Kiva
Hello everyone!
I am happy to share that our Steemit Team on Kiva is growing steadily. We have got four members already, but we want to be many more!
I usually help to fund one loan per month, around the 17th of each month, when I get repayments from the previous loans. Right now I am aiming to help members of the Kumusaraba Group in Bujumbura, Burundi. The members of this group are small-scale entrepreneurs, who want to improve the lives of their families by setting up diverse commercial activities in their local community. Two days ago I converted some STEEM and SBD into Bitcoin, about $20 worth of it. I am now using this money to fund this loan on Kiva. The loan will be made in the name of Team Steemit – if we can fund it in time. The loan will expire in 26 hours from now, unless fully funded. Say, can we mobilise among ourselves here on Steemit, and chip-in with $25 (which will be repaid to you later this year) each, and help make it happen? I have hope and faith in this awesome community!
Abundance and generosity do exist (this platform is a great example of both). Let's demonstrate the latter by sharing the former!
