Michel Jackson memorial tree in Hungary

It's nine years since the death of King Michael Jackson, but his fans in Budapest continue to bring flowers and candles every day around a tree declared by Michael Jackson's Memorial. There they gather every year to his birthday on September 29, so the crowd danced some of his dances.

The memorial tree is located in a park in the center of Budapest, opposite the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus, near the entrance to the metro. Michael Jackson was three times in this hotel, always in the same presidential suite: once in 1994 and twice in 1996. Every time the fans would occupy the park, they waited day after day for Michael to appear on the window and waved them.

The planetary popular star was returning love to his fans, so he often appeared on the window, waved them, writing messages on papers, roll them into balls and threw them to the park. Or he would wipe his face with the scarves and napkins, and throw them to the fans in the park.

When he first visited Budapest in 1994, with his wife, Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of the late King Elvis, he visited the Bethesda Children's Hospital. The two of them donate toys to kids, and they paid the costs of surgery and treatment for 6-year-old boy, White Farkas, who needed liver transplantation. For his next visit to Budapest, in 1996, Michael Jackson visited the hospital again and visited the boy he helped.

Although Michael did not speak the words during the visit to the hospital nor gave the statement, he kindly shared the autographs, and despite his strange behavior, it seemed that he really felt very well and accepted in Budapest.
