TRUST....it may be you or me Part 4

Rahul and kirti both knew that Akshy is absolutely right. Suddenly Rahul said 'I know you are right Akshy and I really don't want to hide anything with you but thinks are really bad and that is why I did not tell you anything'.

Akshy said it's O.K. and I am not complaining that why you did not tell me anything but the concern is with this girl's health and life.

Kirti was sitting silent and thinking that how she became a topic of discussion now.

Suddenly, Rahul said' O.K. lets finish our dinner and go to my room. I'll tell you what happened'.

Kirti looked at Rahul, will he tell Akshy about her Rape ? She felt so shameful and started crying slowly.

Akshy looked at her crying and without reacting he said to Rahul 'fine, but why don't we talk here. We are talking about her life so every conversation should be here in her presence'.

Rahul said fine and with a deep breath he started Kirti's Story in his words. He told Akshy everything that how that had happened,how her family reacted and and how they met and why Kirti is living here.

Now, Kirti was crying so badly. it was being difficult for her to face them. she was wanted to leave that place. Rahul was also feeling so bad about Kirti's situation and he was also wiping his eyes. However they saw that Akshy did not show any reaction. he was continue eating his dinner as he just heard a story of a movie.

Rahul found it strange. He said "Kirti, Don't cry and let me drop you to your room".

Akshy stopped them and said No wait. he stopped eating and turned his face towards Kirti.

Akshy asked kirti, "Do you feel guilty for what had happened to you?"

Kirti looked at him. she never thought that she will face this kind of question ever. She could not answer.

Rahul said in between,"are you mad Akshy why should she feel guilty? What do you want to prove here?"

Akshy was still calm. he said that is your thought Rahul but I want to ask Kirti that what does she feel. he asked that same question again 'Kirti do you feel guilty for your rape?'

this time Akshy was more specific while using the word "rape".

Kirti felt so bad she shouted "NO, I am not guilty, I did not do anything wrong. they did wrong things with me.my mother and father don't trust me. No one knows how bad I feel about it.I don't know what to do. Everyone blames me. No one cares about my feelings".
She was almost broke. she was crying very loudly but for the very first time Rahul and Akshy heard Kirti's Voice in a long sentence and it was the very first time when kirti openly talked about her feelings.

Now, Rahul and Akshy were silent but Kirti was still crying.

Akshy again questioned her "If you know, that was not your mistake then why are you crying?"
Kirti was not able to answer but she was still crying. however she was not crying that badly as earlier.

Akshy said 'look Kirti, I am no one to tell you that how you should live, still I think you are punishing yourself for no reason. if you are sad because of your parents then you are a fool because if they can't trust you- they can't be your parents. In your words those three boys distorted your life that night but look at your self your are killing your self everyday. I am sorry to say but this is not the way you should treat yourself.

Kirti never liked anyone telling her how to do things but today she was liking Akshy's words. she was wanted him to speak more. Now Kirti was seating motionless. Rahul was just thinking what will happen now and Akshy was looking at Kirti.

Rahul broke this silence and said. O.K. Sir Akshy can we go to sleep now? which made both of them laugh. Rahul took Kirti to her room and started some discussion with Akshy.

Next day when Kirti opened her eyes. She found Akshy seating there. When Akshy saw Kirti awake he asked" do you know cooking".

kirti had no idea what this man wants to do. she was quiet but Akshy asked again mam, 'do you know how to cook'.

Kirti said yes in a very low voice but Akshy could hear that and said cool can you please make today's breakfast for us.

Kirti could not say no she again gave a short answer "yes".

Akshy came to her bed and helped her seating on her chair. he said 'just get ready fast and make some nice food'.
he moved her chair towards bathroom and came outside.

Kirti came out after getting ready. She saw Rahul and Akshy were discussing about some business plans. when Akshy and Rahul saw her. Akshy shouted "make it fast I am dying hungry".

Kirti new that he was trying to make her feel comfortable with them but she was feeling so shy. Rahul and Akshy both realized that and came to her saying lets make it together. they took Kirti to the kitchen and helped her making food.

It was after a long time that Kirti was involved in any activity. She was telling them how to cook and what ingredients she is needed as she was unable to stand and find things herself. She never use to talk but she had to speak now.

While having their breakfast Rahul and Akshy were discussing about some meetings. Kirti was still silent but she was not feeling that heavy inside as other days.

Now Kirti had to stay at home with Akshy. She was feeling very uneasy but Akshy was such a mature person and he did not talked anything about last night.Which could make her feel uncomfortable. rather then he asked about kirti's qualifications. When he got to know that Kirti is a commerce graduate. He gave her some files to recheck some calculations and Kirti had to spend her whole day in that.
